Chelsea Andrews
Health Systems Strategist
UAS Survey Leader for
Healthcare Protocols Questions
Chelsea Andrews is a passionate, driven, forward-thinking Michigander. As a pre-medical Spartan, she studied to become a surgical physician with a focus on pediatric oncology and trauma. Along the way, she discovered her fiery passion for bioethics, heath equity, and health systems management.
This new path brought Chelsea and her husband to Colorado so she could complete her Master of Public Health in Health Systems, Management & Policy alongside a certificate in Maternal and Child Health through the Colorado School of Public Health (anticipated graduation: May 2019). Her MPH Practicum entailed cleaning birth certificate data for Maternal Fetal Medicine researchers. Her MPH Capstone aims to use qualitative assessment of anti-human trafficking protocols and expert interviews in the development of University of Colorado Health’s own anti-human trafficking protocol toolkit. Following graduation, Chelsea hopes to improve maternal and child health systems delivery in her home state and beyond.
